Meet the Storm collection, a tribute to Berghaus Ltd's original storm jacket. Berghaus launched the original storm jacket in 1997, introducing the simplex concept - a radical approach to outerwear that stripped back unnecessary layers for maximum breathability, mobility, and performance. Since then, Berghaus has continued to develop its GORE-TEX products, developing some of the worlds the lightest, most packable outerwear of its time. Three decades later the Storm jacket has been updated as a lightweight and high-functioning jacket for the modern explorer. It’s accompanied by an articulated cargo pant and the Storm Crew Sweater, which features the iconic mesh pocket of the original Storm Jacket, alongside a short sleeve crew neck in matching tricolour and black. One of our favourite things about our Farringdon Office is our exhibition space, which our amazing creative team keep up to date with the latest launches from our brands. Recently Speedo International Ltd made a splash with an installation celebrating the ‘Less gym more swim’ campaign. The space has been transformed into a swimming pool, featuring products and quotes from the campaign. Thank you to all the teams involved in creating this experiential masterpiece! Last week our colleagues at our sites across the UK took part in the first National Movement Hour launched by The Body Coach himself, Joe Wicks The campaign asked business leaders and owners across the country to give their people an hour off in March during the working day, to get moving and ultimately prioritise their physical and mental health. At Pentland Brands, we support anything which gets more people active and supports the wellbeing of our people. So, between 3-4pm last Wednesday 5 March, some of us took some time out to move our bodies! Some enjoyed organised walks whilst others had a session at the gym. Some of us got creative, using VR headsets! Thank you to everyone who organised activities and got involved!

The Concept Piece is insulated with BioPuff®, our bio-based insulation technology sourced from wetlands, one of the world’s most powerful ecosystems. By working with nature rather than against it, this jacket is a step towards a new model for materials—one that actively contributes to restoring the landscape! Designed for performance without compromise, the jacket is insulated with BioPuff® and BioPuff® Wadding, offering a versatile approach to warmth. A modular system allows the wearer to adjust insulation levels based on activity and climate, while a choice between loose fiber fill or non-woven insulation provides flexibility in both appearance and function. The BioPuff® insulation in this piece was sourced and processed entirely in Europe, demonstrating how regenerative biomaterials can be scaled for real-world products. For regenerative materials to become industry standard, collaboration is essential. The future of biomaterials depends on industry-wide support, investment, and integration. Premiering on International Women’s Day, Pump for Peace presents Riding Beyond Limits: The Faranak Partoazar Story about Faranak Partoazar, Iran’s cycling pioneer - a woman who refused to let tradition or expectation define her. From learning to ride in secret at 21 to standing on the podium 14 years later at the 2023 Asian Games, her journey is a powerful testament to courage, determination, and an unwavering belief that cycling belongs to everyone. Her victory was a moment that sent ripples through Iranian sport, showing young girls back home that they, too, have a place in cycling. That they, too, can chase dreams others told them were impossible The short documentary is more than a film—it’s a tribute to the women who refuse to be held back.
