Engaging with young people is crucial to address the skills shortage in our industry, and encourage future growth. This is something we wholeheartedly believe in at Philtronics, which is why we were thrilled to welcome L3 learners from The College Merthyr Tydfil last week! Delivering hands-on experience and training sessions, the group learnt some valuable skills and got a real taste of the electronics manufacturing industry. We had a busy morning at Philtronics HQ - welcoming a group of 15 Level 3 Enhanced Engineering learners and lecturers from The College Merthyr Tydfil!    It was a fantastic day of learning and collaborating, where we:   - Delivered a presentation introducing the group to Philtronics - Provided hands-on practice through a workshop involving crimping and soldering  - Delivered an interactive Virtual Reality headset activity in our Academy  - Took the group on a tour of the facilities Today was a great success for everyone involved, and we are incredibly pleased to have received such positive feedback from the learners. Nurturing local talent is crucial in our industry, and it's always a joy to welcome members of local educational institutions to Philtronics.
