Great team work and collaboration between Yorkshire Water, Mott MacDonald Bentley | MMB and Power & Water at Dishforth STW. Today I saw the new Soneco EC unit in situation, being powered on and the start of commissioning. This is the first site to reach this stage using this new technology within Yorkshire Water. This will form part of the phosphorus removal under WINEP to improve water quality into the Soppa Gutter water course. The team at MMB have driven this scheme fantastically and we are on course to meet regulation date early. Great to reach this stage with the scheme and looking forward to completing the remaining works.

Yesterday we took a few hours to have a team lunch ( the fish & chips went down a storm) and have a business update, we spent time reviewing the last 6 months and planning the next 6. Things like these are so important to a company like Power & Water to take time to reflected on the things that went well and things that didn't, the last 6 months has flown by and the team has grown from strength to strength, we even showed the team the findings on a secret project (shhh hush hush) more to follow on that one.
