We had the pleasure of participating in 'The Placement Launch Pad' event organised by the University of Greenwich in partnership with Step Recruitment. Our Talent Acquisition Advisor, Natasha Saini, and our Technical Assistant, Nirikshaa Murali Uditi, delivered an inspiring talk to MSc Food Innovation and MSc Applied Food Safety and Quality Management students. Natasha delved into what we look for in placement applications, interview tips to help candidates shine and success stories of our star students. Whilst Nirikshaa, who is a shining example of our placement program's success, shared valuable insights from her recruitment journey, from challenges of the program to the long-term benefits of the placement experience. A huge thank you to the University of Greenwich and Step for organising this event, and to all the students who attended. Embracing this, our Learning & Development team launched our first in-house Problem Solving Workshop, tailored specifically to our prepped fruit environment. This bespoke session brought together a diverse group of in-house experts from key functions including Engineering, Production, Technical, HR, and Compliance. By focusing on real Non-Conformances, we harnessed our collective expertise to identify root causes and develop effective corrective and preventative actions. This workshop marks the beginning of a company-wide initiative. By investing in our team's problem-solving capabilities, we're not just addressing current issues – we're building a stronger, more adaptable organisation committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement, ready to exceed customer expectations and drive industry standards forward. Our commitment to excellence takes us across borders. Recently Juran Technologies, our pomegranate extraction system partner, hosted our production team visit to a leading pomegranate processing company in Germany where we witnessed their state-of-the-art aril extraction line in action, we engaged in productive discussions that yielded valuable insights into further enhancing our aril quality, extending shelf life, and refining our operational processes. We believe that delivering the finest products to our customers starts long before the fruit reaches our facilities. It's about understanding every step of the journey, from the orchard to your pot.

We were proud to have supported the Gravesham Riverside Festival, a vibrant celebration of live music and family fun. Our team carefully picked and packed 1000's of freshly prepared fruit pots to hand out for free to festival-goers to enjoy a healthy taste of summer. We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this wonderful local event. At PrepWorld, our commitment goes beyond producing quality food, it's also about nurturing the communities we serve.

Our CEO Ben Olins was delighted to welcome Harpreet Kaur to the PrepWorld family as our 600th employee earlier this week. Harpreet has been working with us for the past 1.5 years through one of our agencies and has now joined as a permanent member of the High Care team. This is a major milestone for us at PrepWorld, growing in just over ten years from having a handful of employees to becoming one of the largest employers in Kent.
