Back in 2021, we invested in our first IG-L Robotic Loading System from GS-MR Glass & Stone, who has designed and manufactured the Robotic system to bring industrial automation into our manual loading process. The successful implementation of this automation has led us to further invest in additional IG-L’s from GS-MR. These robotic loading systems have significantly reduced manual handling of glass, making the process much safer for our employees. New Factory Update! Since we took this video at our new site in Port Talbot, a lot has been happening. Our team, along with Lisec engineers, is currently installing new equipment. This high-tech factory is essential to our ongoing investment in sustainable technologies and processes, helping us achieve our goal of reducing CO2 emissions. The modern facility and open factory space will enable us to effectively plan and utilise our new technology, optimise productivity, reduce waste, and save energy. Additionally, the state-of-the-art machinery will enhance the high product quality we currently offer by reducing manual handling of the glass. This improvement not only ensures better quality but also creates a safer working environment for our employees. #glassindustry #sustainabletechnologies

Condolences for Shane Roller We want to take this opportunity to share our deepest condolences for the loss of our friend and colleague, Shane Roller. Shane and his partner, Shannen Morgan, and two of their daughters, ages four and nine, lost their lives in a road traffic accident on Sunday, 21st July. Shane worked for us as a driver based in Barnsley and was extremely loved by his colleagues and our customers. Shane’s eleven-year-old daughter, Poppie, now faces an uncertain future with her immediate family gone.   A GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise funds to support Poppie during this sad time. We are supporting Port Talbot Town Cricket Club this season. Their senior team are currently playing in South Wales Premier League 2. They provide free cricket opportunities for all ages and supply playing kit to all juniors, so that they can turn up and play. This year, they have organised various local events, including a rounders tournament with the local league, a community cohesion day in collaboration with SW Police and NPT Council. In September they have a memorial game in remembrance of their deceased Chairman and run social events at their club.
