We have just returned from a productive buying event hosted by Jaakko Martiskainen at Essilor Luxottica UK Office in Kensington, where we were represented by myself Sean McCauley, Kathryn McKerrall and Lynsey Rodger. These meetings are an essential part of ensuring Pretavoir continues to offer our customers access to the new collections and innovations from leading luxury eyewear brands. We are particularly looking forward to introducing the upcoming collections from CHANEL, Jimmy Choo, and Versace, which will soon be available on Pretavoir. We were particularly interested in a revival of tweed within the CHANEL collection. As many of you will know Coco Chanel had a great fondness for Scotland and spent many holidays breathing our very fresh Scottish air and fishing for our native salmon on the Duke of Westminsters estate in Sutherland. Thank you to the brand teams for their time and for walking us through these developments. We will be sharing more updates with our customers as these collections become available. We also appreciate the opportunity to view collections in London rather than in Milan or Paris. We are on the move! Pretavoir and i2i Optometrists will be relocating to new premises at 348 Argyle St, Glasgow this Autumn. After a long search for a new home we have found the perfect building. Our expansive 14000 sq ft new home is located within the International Financial Services District, neighbouring the new JP Morgan Office. It is testament to the hard work of all the team that we have been able to make this considerable investment. The brief for Award Winning Design Agency Splintr is create a state of the art office space for our customer service and marketing team and a similarly modern and functional fulfilment centre on the first floor. The ground floor space will house one of the largest collections of eyewear found anywhere. Our intention is to create a retail space to rival any found across the globe. We intend to create several shop in shop spaces to provide an immersive shopping experience for our customers. We are pleased to have SPLINTR LTD working on this project aswell as Clodagh Norton who has much experience of what makes Optical Retail special.. We would like to thank colin dalkin for help in property purchase.
