We are celebrating reaching Financial Close on a key worker housing project in Truro. This significant milestone marks our commitment to addressing the critical housing shortage for key workers at Royal Cornwall Hospital. The new development on Tresawls Road will provide 89 beds across 22 units of purpose-built residential accommodation, all within walking distance of the hospital. This project is a testament to our dedication to supporting NHS staff and enhancing community wellbeing. A huge thank you to our partners, the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust and Nevada Construction, for their collaboration and support. We look forward to continuing our work to deliver high-quality, sustainable housing solutions for key workers across the UK. Today, our team came together to support Myeloma UK, one of our chosen charities for 2025. We baked delicious cakes and donned our vibrant pink and orange clothes to show solidarity. This cause is especially close to our hearts as one of our friends and colleagues is currently undergoing treatment for Myeloma, and we're sending all our love and support. We're thrilled to announce that we've raised an incredible £1,330 so far! Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this event a success. Let's continue to make a difference together. #Fundraising #MyelomaUK #Community #Charity #TeamSpirit

This year’s B Corp month highlights the people working to make business a force for good, #GenB. Today we’re taking a moment to recognise our good work and that of other B Corps with a lunchtime social event, Cheese for Bs. Our staff have all brought in their favourite cheese to share and enjoy with accompaniments produced by B Corp suppliers. We’re also testing knowledge with a B Corp-themed quiz! Celebrating our workers and their commitment to delivering purpose alongside profit is a great moment. Read more about our B Corp journey: https://lnkd.in/en8X_zpt #BCorpProud

We're celebrating International Women's Day today, embracing this year's theme, "Accelerate Action", and our commitment to supporting menopause at work. Women are four times more likely to develop osteoporosis, and going through menopause further contributes to bone loss. To create awareness around this, our Wellbeing Team Beth Whitehouse, Assoc CIPD, LLB, Liz Squibb and Lydia Roberts set up an engaging display in the middle of the office featuring our skeleton, Indiana Bones, with facts tagged to her for staff to read and discover more about bone health. We also had fun by holding quizzes and offering word searches, creating an interactive and informative start to the week! So we're spending our Mondays celebrating progress, reaffirming our commitment to continuous improvement and striving to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, understood and empowered. Find out more about our activities here: https://lnkd.in/eSzrMEvX Happy International Women's Day! 🎉 #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #MarchForward #MenopauseSupport #InclusiveWorkplace
