Diane has supported a service user to engage in a community based activities, which has enabled them to feel included in society and experience joy to a level that has been absent from their life for a notable time. • World Mental Health Day! 🗣️ Today, our entire team participated in raising awareness and promoted initiatives to support individuals facing/experiencing mental illness. The official theme for WMHD set annually by the World Federation for Mental Health is: “prioritising mental health in the workplace.” Focusing on workplace burnout this World Mental Health Day gives opportunities to cultivate a more productive, engaged, and fulfilled workforce and we certainly want to foster an environment where mental wellbeing is a priority for all! 💪🤩 We held a breakfast morning for our service users and staffing teams 🥓🥐🍳. We talked about all things mental health 🗣️, gave personalised gratitude cards & token gifts to every member of our team, provided ‘Self-Kindness Toolkits’ to all 📖, read inspirational quotes and played Chatterbox Games 🎲, which encouraged wellbeing skills such as mindfulness, grounding and self-compassion. Take a look at some photos of our wonderful (05:30am start!!) morning (and spot our MDT in the mental health awareness clothing!!). 👕

  • At Priory Hospital Cardiff, we pride ourselves in offering a Bespoke Treatment Package tailored to each individual we support. To enable us to do this, we provide bespoke training to ensure we teach and continuously upskill our staffing teams, whilst embedding Priory Policies and Values. Our training events allow our teams to learn and understand an individuals history, their functioning profile and support needs. This feeds into a holistic review of the proposed treatment plan and creates opportunities for team building. Take a look at some photos of a recent (4 day) training event held! We are so grateful for the compassion and dedication displayed by our team in providing recovery focused care. ✨
