African delegation visits Priva 🌍 🤝 In partnership with COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa), Export Partner organized an insightful inbound visit for a delegation of African leaders representing various countries in the region. This delegation traveled to the Netherlands to explore opportunities for collaboration and to learn more about innovative agricultural practices. The focus of the visit was knowledge sharing: How do we grow crops efficiently and sustainably in the Netherlands? And how can these practices be adapted to improve agricultural outcomes in Africa? Beyond agriculture, the delegation showed strong interest in expanding trade activities. For many, export is a new frontier, but there is great enthusiasm to explore and expand their presence in the international market. At Priva, we were delighted to welcome this delegation to our campus. We shared our vision of a future where technology and agriculture work hand in hand to achieve sustainable growth.

Dag van de Techniek 2024 Op vrijdag 27 september 2024 was de 16e editie van de Dag van de Westlandse Techniek. Een superleuk én zinvol initiatief van WNTWeb. Leerlingen van de groepen 7 en 8 van de Westlandse basisscholen bezoeken op deze dag bedrijven met een technische inslag, en ... dat zijn er nogal wat in Westland! Bij Priva mochten we de leerlingen van de Lierse Willem-Alexanderschool en de Vlieten ontvangen en rondleiden in ons bedrijf. Niet alleen kijken en luisteren, maar vooral ook zelf doen is het leukste van zo’n bezoek en zo brachten de kinderen een bezoek aan onze Indoor Growing unit, maar gingen ze ook aan de slag met schakelaars en schroevendraaiers. De kinderen waren overigens niet de enigen die het naar hun zin hebben tijdens zo’n bezoek: ook onze collega’s hebben er lol in om de jeugd enthousiast te maken voor technische opleidingen en beroepen!
