Excited to share insights on the Liebherr P78 planar sensor. It's a game changer in industrial moisture measurement. This sensor is a capacitive measuring method, enabling precise moisture detection in real-time across various materials. We have seen some impressive performance on sand, pulp, digestate and crushed stone recently resulting in considerable operational cost savings and energy usage optimisation. 💪 Utilising a 2 mm thin zirconium oxide ceramic surface, durability even in the harshest environments is achieved. ☔ With IP68 protection, it's both waterproof and dustproof, making it ideal for challenging conditions and harsh environments. Here is a video of the P78 sensor installed on a sliding shoe, allowing sand to pass across the sensor. The sliding shoe ensures that contact remains with the product at all times whilst the belt is running. You will also see that restraints have been installed to stop the sliding shoe and sensor coming into contact with the belt when no product is present. Junior engineer appreciation post Charlie Rushen I was asked to take Charlie under my wing, so to speak recently and help him understand, mature and further his knowledge in the big wide world of process and automation. Recently here at Process Instrument Services, we have been tasked to carry out the installation and commissioning of a level application, now this isn't a particularly big task, but Charlie has built the panel and carried out a workshop commission/set up. This is his 1st attempt and I have to say I'm proud of 1st go, attention to details, Measurements and clean and tidy, we also took time to understand how and why the application works and we even leant a little about active/passive I/O, keep up the good work Charlie

Last week we were thrilled to have the wonderful Annie Nunn in our office for a wellbeing talk with the team 😄 We covered the topic of how to become a high performance human. This exercise encouraged the team to look at the connections between Human, Health and Hustle and was really informative for all.  It was great to cover the benefits of physcial, mental and emotional wellbeing for life, work and self 👏🏻 The team also got involved in a breathing exercise to learn about the connection between nervous system and breathwork.
