Ey up! Can you believe a Northern lad from the countryside can pronounce the phrase 'Sustainable Excellence'? Never mind be part of a company that's been flippin' nominated for it by Flex and The City 🏢 From refurbished team tech to building and designing with reusability in mind, Living wage contractors to promoting and engaging in more ethical practices throughout - Sustainable Excellence is always at the front of our minds at Projects. We find it key to include our tight nit team in every decision making area including but not limited to our BCORP submission and Net Zero planning whilst delegating areas of our Impact Report to those who would thrive in each area. 🍃 Many people accuse the 'B word' as a badge you just use for personal benefit, which for many it could be. We found like many others it's purpose was so much more, it's helped us confidently claim to be The Home for Better Business™️. With lived experience from myself and many others close to me, 'Benefit' Corporation is worth more than a badge for environmental change, instead you can simply build from the word and it's framework. Sustainable communities are benefitted through openness, collaboration and commitment to empowering each other to do better. Supporting charitable growth in your local areas can lead to diverse referrals and establishing interconnected communities. Ensuring you're expanding in a considered and sustainable manner will ensure your team, members, landlords and local community all believe in your mission for the right reasons 💛 The most important aspect of Sustainable Excellence is bringing incredibly dedicated people on board who believe in the change, both within your team and community. You can't train passion and a caring nature, it comes naturally. I for one am extremely excited for what change the future of Projects can bring and what it can inspire others to do alongside us. If you fancy helping us get our voices heard as a comparatively small company to those we are up against, we would be extremely grateful 🌿 https://lnkd.in/eVejEJUT

Community Manager (Interventions) at the RSA

I'm starting a new role! 🎉 After a brilliant 7 months covering Jessica McMorrow as the Fellowship Areas and Engagement Manager for the South East at the RSA, I'm pleased to share that I'll be moving into a new role as our Community Manager for Interventions! Working with such talented and inspiring Fellows across the South East has been a true highlight. I'm also especially proud of some of the work I was able to do, including: ✅Securing partnerships with new co-working spaces in the region ✅Collaborating with organisations like Projects to host some brilliant networking events (snapshot from our latest one below!) ✅Supporting the growth of the fantastic RSA Southampton Network ✅Re-igniting activity in areas like Reading, Oxford and Woking ✅Programming over 36 in-person & online events across the South East In my new role I'll be working on building our intervention communities & driving engagement with interventions at the RSA, focussing mostly on RSA Spark- which you can learn more about here: https://lnkd.in/e87Wj2fU 🌍I can't wait to get stuck in and continue this impactful work. Thank you to the colleagues, Fellows and external partners who've supported me along the way at The RSA (The royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce). #newrole #communitymanagement #frsa #fellowship #interventions #rsaspark
