8.4 MILLION UNITS OF PLASTIC REMOVED! 💚♻️ M&S’ Perfectly Ripe Twin Avocado packs and Ripe Avocado lines now have cardboard packaging, removing an estimated 7 million units of plastic from our Foodhalls. 🥑 We have also introduced paper packaging on our Vanilla Fudge chocolate bars – which will remove a further 1.4 million units of plastic in the next 12 months. 🍫 We’re committed to removing one billion units of plastic by FY27/28. 🧅♻️ We're delighted to announce the new packaging launch of Tesco Finest Onions, now available in our easily recyclable Linerless solution. Thanks to team collaboration between Tesco, ProPrint Group, Ravenwood Packaging Ltd and Stourgarden, customers will be able to recycle both Finest Extra Large and Finest Rosanna Pink Onion packs right at the kerbside, aligning with Tesco’s ongoing commitment to their 4R’s strategy. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁… 🚀 This move is forecast to eliminate 3.7 million pieces of plastic currently not recyclable at the kerbside.
