This week as a milestone moment for us. Charlotte Nichols had the incredible honour of hosting the 50th episode live from the TEDxTeessideWomen stage featuring special guest Yasmin Khan. We couldn’t have reached this point without our amazing guests, listeners, and the supportive Michaela Reaney and her TEDxTeesside team. Here’s to 50 more episodes of powerful conversations, insights, and stories! The episode will be dropping on all our streaming platforms soon. Keep an eye out on our socials for updates and to discover other great episodes. #PRsonalPodcast #50thEpisode #TEDxTeesside #Leadership #Storytelling #PodcastMilestone #HarveyAndHugo #PRLeadership

Yesterday at TEDxTeessideWomen was spectacular. All of the speakers were impactful. Key takeaways: Sophia Ukor: Sharing her story helped her feel sane and we need to appreciate the value of every human experience and recognise the power stories have in transforming the world. She challenged us to create a safe space for people to hear stories and I believe the PRsonal Podcast is doing this. Sharon S. encouraged us to never stop dreaming as we age and to get older and bolder. (I would love to discuss your romping on the podcast! Are you up for it?) Michaela Reaney urged us to have more uncomfortable conversations as without them change won’t happen. I totally agree with this and the fact we need more love, humanity and to listen more. ❤️ Chloe Law’s talk was terrifying but we need to hear it and understand the myths around misandry. Drew Dalton humanised silent stories. These stories were harrowing, but they need telling to mobilise change. Tamma Carel (PIEMA, FIIRSM, MSc, BSc) urged us to address the delicate balance of life and question if we really need something before making a purchase. Our planet is crying out for balance and we have to help it. 🌍 I could relate so much to Millie Gooch 's talk. Thank you for sharing your deeply personal story and talking about alcohol and mental health. To be on stage to host my 50th PRsonal Podcast was an honour. My guest Yasmin Khan was so passionate, articulate and inspiring. She made us all aware that we have a part to play in encouraging equality. We can’t just stand by and watch it happen, we have to call out any discrimination we see. I had to shoot off straight from stage to finish off Yasmin’s podcast in the studio so unfortunately I missed the end but I’m sure Liz Atkin and Ruby Dhal were all also exceptional. Watch this space for a deeper dive on the topics we covered on stage with Yasmin. Harvey & Hugo will be releasing the 50th podcast as soon as we receive all of the footage from the live event. Thank you for being a wonderfully inspiring host Ben Pechey and putting on a marvellous event Michaela Reaney. #TEDxTeessideWomen #PRsonalPodcast #Women #Equality #TEDx #Teesside
