The Chimbuli Child Based Care Centre (CBCC), which started with less than ten children, has now become a nurturing ground for over 150 young minds. 📚 Pump Aid facilitated a training programme for the service providers of Chimbuli CBCC. The training aimed to combat malnutrition and stunting among children, thereby increasing their access to early child development and learning opportunities.🌽 The story of Chimbuli CBCC is one of hope, where every initiative, every effort, and every vegetable grown is a step towards a brighter future for the children. 🌍

Recognising the slow progress in the growth of a crucial perennial crop, Pump Aid intensified capacity-building training for the Women Farmers Group. These training sessions, jointly facilitated by Area Extension Development Officers (AEDOs) from the Ministry of Agriculture in Mchinji, have yielded tangible results.🌽 “We’ve taken a practical, hands-on approach,”Licy Nkoloma explained. “By involving AEDOs closely, we’ve witnessed remarkable changes. The Women Farmers are now putting their lessons into practice, resulting in a thriving banana initiative that bears fruit year-round. This ensures that communities don’t face hunger even in challenging times.”🌍
