Today Word on the Curb has launched its "Get(ting) Out" Report, which finds that 51% of young Black and Asian Britons have thought about leaving the UK and 1 in 7 have actively made plans to leave due to government failings, racism and economic worries. This timely report has launched ahead of the general election and gives young minority voters a chance to voice their troubles with the UK and highlights how this could lead to an exodus of young first and second generation immigrants. Thanks Ndubuisi Uchea and Hayel Wartemberg for this insightful and important research. And thank you for a brilliant write up Nadine White You can read the full piece on The Independent here: https://lnkd.in/dsNH-uWp And you can visit the study to read all the case studies here: https://lnkd.in/duC7uXgv

Former Miss England Rehema Muthamia and influencer Flo Finch have bravely shared their stories of domestic abuse in an exclusive, eye-opening interview with the Daily Mirror. As England progress through the Euros, there is a strong correlation between international football tournaments and the rise of domestic abuse, with research showing that cases of domestic violence can increase by 38% when England loses a game or exits a tournament. To raise awareness of the support available, Rehema and Flo teamed up with NCDV - National Centre For Domestic Violence, Solace Women's Aid and creative agency The Wild by Jungle (Jungle Creations) to launch a nationwide campaign, revealing an alternative England kit - Shirt 38 - to symbolise a sobering truth: "when we lose, she loses more." Thank you for the great write up Lydia Veljanovski. It really does feel like the summer of sport here in Cannes - whether it's the Olympic torch passing through, the Euros playing out on screens around the town or professional athletes and marketers rubbing shoulders on the Stagwell Sport Beach. And now the brilliant Orange 'WoMen's Football' campaign by Marcel, Paris, France has scooped the Grand Prix in the Entertainment Lions for Sport category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity with Fuse's Louise Johnson presiding as Jury President #canneslions2024 #summerofsport #creativity

Did you know there is a 38% rise in reported abuse cases when England's men’s team lose a major tournament? Ahead of the Euro's, our client The Wild by Jungle (Jungle Creations) teamed up with Solace Women's Aid and the NCDV - National Centre For Domestic Violence to launch a nationwide campaign ‘No More Injury Time’ to raise awareness of the support available for anyone experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic abuse and show they are not alone. We are very proud to have worked on this campaign, securing coverage across national titles including ITV News, The Telegraph, The Independent, Glamour and Daily Mirror. Four Nine Stephanie I.
