Great feedback from one of our private patients in the North West who has experienced our new Women's Health Service firsthand! 🌟 “I’m 35+ weeks pregnant and have been seeing Saira due to pelvic soreness. She’s been fantastic, offering strategies that have not only eased my pain but also allowed me to do more with my little one over the holidays. I’m so impressed with her knowledge and will definitely be booking in for my Mummy MOT in November! 👍” Receiving this feedback is incredibly important for us because it highlights the real-world impact of our service and shows that our specialised care is not only effective, but life-changing for our patients! 💙 Our physiotherapists, like saira (Clinics & FCP Physiotherapist), go above and beyond to provide tailored strategies that genuinely improve the quality of life for patients, whether that’s in our private clinics or part of our Primary Care services. Congratulations saira! 👏 #WomensHealth #PelvicHealth #Physiotherapy #PatientCare #MummyMOT

We are loving this insightful video from one of our FCP Regional Leads, Mehmet, on Hip Pain from FAI Syndrome (Hip Impingement)! 🦵 FAI Syndrome can be a confusing and frustrating condition so, in this video, Mehmet breaks down what hip impingement is and addresses common misconceptions. 🧐 Whether you're dealing with hip pain or just want to understand more about the condition, this video is a must-watch!
Here it is…. First YouTube video! (Gulp 😅) WHAT IS HIP IMPINGEMENT? Aka FAI (FEMOROACETABULAR IMPINGEMENT) | WHAT CAUSES HIP PAIN FROM FAI? https://lnkd.in/e9hmjbmJ It’s a new channel so I’d appreciate any support subscribing and doing the usual ❤️🙏 Really excited to start creating these. The vision is to really create as many patient centric videos like these as possible to help clinicians direct patients to a source where they can better understand conditions and management without the risk of getting into a YouTube or google rabbit hole. Pure Physiotherapy Tim Youngman hope you approve with the editing tekkers :)

One common question we receive is, "How can a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) MSK Specialist benefit our patients?" Understanding the FCPs role ensures that patients receive the right care at the right time, improving overall outcomes. So, let’s breakdown some of the benefits below 👇 📋 Comprehensive Assessment FCP MSK Specialists are highly trained to assess musculoskeletal conditions. Their assessments include a thorough physical examination, a detailed medical history review, and any necessary tests or investigations. This leads to accurate and timely diagnoses, ensuring patients receive the best possible care from the outset. 🎯 Precise Diagnosis Following a comprehensive assessment, FCPs can provide a clear diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions - crucial in guiding effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. ✅ Tailored Treatment Options FCPs offer a wide range of treatments, from exercise therapy and manual therapy to advanced pain management strategies. These treatments help patients recover more quickly and manage their conditions more effectively. 🔁 Seamless Referral Process If a patient requires further investigation or specialist care, FCPs are equipped to refer them to the appropriate healthcare professionals, such as orthopaedic surgeons or rheumatologists. This ensures continuity of care and a smooth patient journey. 💪 Empowering Self-Management FCPs play a vital role in advising patients on self-management strategies. This includes guidance on exercise, lifestyle changes, and pain management techniques, helping patients take control of their health and reducing the risk of future issues. Integrating FCP MSK Specialists into your practice can lead to more efficient patient care, reduce the workload on GPs, and enhance the overall quality of service. FCPs provide timely, effective care that not only improves patient outcomes, but also contributes to a more streamlined healthcare system.
