A healthy, skilled, and engaged workforce is essential for a thriving economy. However, our new research, launched today, highlights a worrying trend: one in ten workers is considering leaving their jobs—equating to 4.4 million individuals on the brink of exiting the labour market. This issue has business leaders concerned; nine out of ten are worried about the increase in economic inactivity. Even more striking, eight in ten (81%) state that this is having a real impact on their productivity.
