Kick off Plastic Waste Collection Programme Super Indo - PZ Cussons – Waste Hubs Indonesia Super Indo and PZ Cussons are joining forces to combat the pressing issue of plastic waste pollution. Through a strategic partnership with Waste Hubs Indonesia, we aim to establish a comprehensive plastic waste collection programme that will significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste sent to landfills. At the launch event, Jonathan Myers, CEO of PZ Cussons and Boudewijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, President Director of Super Indo, gave the opening remarks and the signing of the MOU was represented by Ningcy Yuliana, Managing Director of PZ Cussons Indonesia. Earlier this week, Cussons Baby launched our Share the Joy consumer promotion in Uganda. Yesterday, I completed the Manchester Half Marathon to raise funds for Wood Street Mission, a charity that’s become really important to me. When I signed up in February, running 13.1 miles felt like a big challenge—especially considering I used to avoid running at all costs! But what kept me going was the impact of this charity: ensuring children don’t go without basic school supplies, miss out on Christmas presents or have the childhood experiences I know I and many of us take for granted. Wood St Mission does incredible work to support families in need around Manchester and Salford, and I’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes. While volunteering at one of their childhood experience days, I saw how much joy and excitement the children had—learning new skills and just having fun. It really emphasised how vital their efforts are in building children’s futures. I’m extremely proud to be part of PZ Cussons, which continues to support the brilliant work of Wood Street Mission. Thank you to everyone who has supported and donated—it means a lot, and your contributions have made and will make a real difference.
