During a recent visit to Marks and Spencer, we spotted one of our Full-Service Units (FSUs) featuring the beloved Percy Pig, all decked out for Halloween and proudly showcasing themed merchandise. It was great to see our creation in action. The playful design, combined with Percy Pig’s charm, really catches your attention. The highlight, of course, was discovering the range of "oinks" there are – who knew there were so many? We love supporting the M&S design team with manufacturing and installing key category hero bays within the food hall, to enhance the customer experience. Influencing the customer journey with pops of colour and clear destination areas, like shop-within-shop concepts, enhances the consumer experience by improving navigation, engagement, and overall satisfaction. Strategic use of colours draws attention to specific products or sections, guiding customers smoothly through the store. Colours can evoke emotions—calming greens for a relaxed atmosphere or energetic pinks —making the environment more engaging, along with an Oink or two from Percy the pig, a Moo from the happy cow or a Cluck from the happy chicken! Clear destination areas provide, clear segmentation of brands or categories, reducing the overwhelm of large spaces and simplifying decision-making.
