About us
Qualita is an established furniture manufacturer & wholesaler, already making cabinet furniture for major High Street players within the UK and abroad. Our own factory is based in Lithuania, but we also source products from factories in Europe and Asia. At each stage of the manufacturing process we exercise a high level of quality control, guaranteeing that the products arrive without defects. We hold stock in different countries, and we also have a distribution centre in the UK, London. Our own team of carpenters deal with any queries and are able to rectify any problems that may occur, and we have a dedicated customer support team working from our office in Battersea, London. Qualita holds an exclusive license to design, source and distribute Laura Ashley branded cabinet furniture. The company also holds a license to source and supply classic cabinet ranges to retailers under the Winsor name.

Kaunas calling! SBA Group company AB Kauno Baldai starts exports to UK and Ireland. In UK, the second largest furniture market in Europe, the value of upholstered furniture is 3.7 billion euros. "Furniture demand in Europe is stabilising, but the signs of a faster recovery are not yet visible. We are therefore taking this momentum to open up new export opportunities to maximise our production capacity. We are currently offering our furniture collections to new customers in the UK and negotiating volumes. This year we hope to develop the most sought-after assortment and their demand, and we plan to achieve a more significant export volume - about 10 per cent of the total turnover - in the next year," says Tomas Mauricas, CEO of Kauno baldai. According to him, most of the exported collections will be designed specifically for UK, as this country has different requirements for upholstered furniture than the EU countries. Mauricas says the British are seeking alternatives to imports from China. They are also looking for new manufacturers closer to home in Europe after COVID and the challenges of logistics from Asia.
