Are you curious about the quantum startup ecosystem? Do you have questions about how startups in this space tackle fundraising, hiring, IP management, R&D, etc. all at once? Are you a potential founder and simply want to hear about the journey of a startup in this dynamic, ever-evolving space? We have something just for you: We welcome Richard Givhan, CEO and cofounder of Haiqu, a quantum middleware company with a globally distributed team of 15 people. Richard will talk about his motivations for starting Haiqu, and the work they are doing in the UK right now. Then, he will walk the audience through the details of fundraising, hiring, management, simultaneous R&D and productization, and more as a quantum start-up. The goal of the session is to be as informative as possible for someone considering the start-up path, so we will keep this very interactive with plenty of questions and networking opportunities.
