❓Why early engagement in firestopping❓ While only a small percentage of high-rise fires spread beyond the flat of origin, it does happen. In an article for Inside Housing, Peter Apps reported: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 8,025 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘺𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 2016/17. However, to ensure effective compartmentation, there needs to be an element of early engagement and collaboration to ensure the correct products are used and installed by competent individuals, as per the test evidence. ♻️ Sustainable practices ♻️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝-𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬: We ensure our goods are delivered in one drop using third-party couriers that have adopted sustainability measures. For example, Palletline’s multi-hub model means that its members, like ourselves, can use their local depot and reduce the distance travelled by 4.5 million miles, compared to using one central depot.
