About us

Quick Release_ is the go-to global provider of Product Data management. Recognised by Forbes and the FT as a leading consultancy for automotive, 400 hands-on professionals work to build capability, accelerate development programmes, and enhance engineering teams’ efficiency alongside some of the largest, most innovative and prestigious manufacturers, technologists and Tier suppliers. QR_’s mission is to enhance competitive advantage by bringing products to market faster and more efficiently. We do this by improving product data quality and flow through every part of a business from concept to manufacture, with a particular focus on master product data management, prototype build and launch operations, and operational performance improvement. Convinced organisations must become truly data-driven to meet global challenges, but believing systems are not the only answer, QR_’s Quite Refreshing process focuses on getting data right, keeping it right, and delivering actionable insights to the right people at the right time. Identifying and tackling the biggest blockers of productivity, QR_ releases engineers to focus on the product, not the data. And unlike many PLM vendors or big-name consultants, QR_ can combine big picture insights with unobtrusive implementation of meaningful and measurable improvements utilising existing systems and data sources. Make change not slides! Quick Release are an Armed Forces friendly employer. We welcome applications from reservists, former or existing Armed Forces personnel who are interested in a career in Product Data Management.

Cenex Expo 2024: Driving Innovation with Data Another fantastic two-day event welcomed over 4,000 attendees, showcasing the latest breakthroughs in Innovation, Sustainable Materials, and Connected Automated Mobility (CAM). It was great to see the industry coming together to forge a path towards Net Zero transport. Here are James Broomer's key takeaways: 1️⃣ Migration from ICE: - Steady growth across the low carbon vehicle (LCV) sector but personal passenger EV products are still seen as too expensive. Public LCVs do not serve all customers currently, specifically those in more rural areas. - Governing bodies should remain technology-neutral while guiding the industry to address challenges, ensuring customers are engaged in the process. - The time is now. Immediate focus should be on optimizing existing charging infrastructure rather than waiting for ideal conditions, and the rollout of new infrastructure should be reliable and unremarkable in its consistency. 2️⃣ Future of Transport - Transport is a complex system and must be navigated as such. Understanding the inputs, outputs and interdependencies is key to driving better outcomes. - Trusted and well-presented data is essential for accelerating progress and enabling better decision-making. - Being clear on the priorities will allow focus on the right areas. Whether that is user-centricity, embracing change or working across silos. 3️⃣ Clarity on the ZEV Roadmap 2030 - No more sales of new petrol or diesel vehicles. Hybrid vehicles must have a 'significant range' zero-emission mode. 2035 - All new cars must be fully zero-emission. New Hybrid vehicle sales will cease. 2040 - HGVs under 26 tons must be zero-emission. 2050 - Every vehicle on UK roads (new and existing) must be zero-emission. Significant progress has been made over the past year, but further efforts are needed to stay on track with the Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) roadmap leading to 2050. Additionally, sectors like Energy, Construction, Heavy Industry, and Agriculture must also align with this transition for broader success. Thank you to Advanced Propulsion Centre UK Innovate UK Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Cenex Expo & Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom for their continued support to help realize the vision. #CenexExpo2024 #InnovationInTransport #NetZero #SustainableMobility #ZeroEmissionVehicles #FutureOfTransport #ElectricVehicles #AutomotiveInnovation #LCV #EVChargingInfrastructure #SustainableFuture

QR_ has always been about maximising the impact of data by making systems and processes as people centric as possible, mindful that none of those elements alone can be the whole answer. Cenex Expo takes a similarly holistic approach, bringing together the R&D and production muscle of established OEMs with innovative start-ups, tier 1s, and technologists in the successor to the much-loved Low Carbon Vehicle and Connected Automated Mobility show. QR_'s James Broomer will be on site, eager to hear about the latest progress and challenges faced in getting low-emission and autonomous mobility solutions to market. Whether it's BoM-centric issues feeding into prototype build challenges, or data preparation challenges for predictive maintenance insights, James is keen to hear about it. So please do feel free to reach out directly for a coffee, chat, walk-and-talk, or maybe a lap round the proving ground!

Our people are the heart and soul of everything we do. Today, we’re excited to shine a light on Natalie Cadotte, who exemplifies our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or as we call it QSR. Natalie wears two hats at Quick Release_ —as an Assistant Project Manager and the Global Lead for our QSR initiative. "Corporate Social Responsibility is the idea that private companies have an obligation to society to use their resources for social and environmental good, in addition to business impact." She emphasizes the importance of the "triple bottom line"—environmental, social, and financial—that all businesses should prioritize. This approach ensures that businesses like ours not only thrive financially but also contribute positively to society and the planet. Natalie graduated from the University of Michigan where she studied Organizational Studies with a focus on Sustainability. She brought her sustainability knowledge to Quick Release_, where after just four months at QR_, Natalie became the Global Lead for QSR. Under Natalie’s leadership, the QSR team has evolved significantly. Initially focused on organizing local volunteering efforts, the team now drives three key strategic workstreams: ➡ Carbon Tracking: Natalie and the QSR team are diligently gathering data on office energy consumption, staff commuting, and business travel. The goal? Establishing a baseline carbon footprint for Quick Release_ and implementing strategies to reduce our environmental impact moving forward. ➡ Pro Bono Work: Recognizing the potential to extend our impact beyond the corporate world, this project, currently in its pilot stage, involves helping charitable organizations optimize their operations through our expertise in data management. ➡ Sustainability Guide Workstream: This initiative is close to Natalie’s heart, offering practical, everyday tips to our employees on how they can reduce their environmental impact. By fostering small but meaningful changes in daily habits, combined with broader organizational efforts, Natalie believes we can make a significant difference. Beyond her contributions to CSR, Natalie’s role as an Assistant Project Manager has allowed her to develop critical technical and leadership skills. This dual focus not only enriches her career but also enhances the effectiveness of our CSR initiatives, creating a synergy that benefits both Quick Release_ and the communities we serve. As we approach our internal CSR Week, themed "Doing Good Together," we’re thrilled to recognize and celebrate Natalie’s incredible work. Her passion and leadership are driving meaningful change within our company and beyond. Please join us in celebrating Natalie Cadotte, a true advocate for sustainability and social responsibility at Quick Release_! #CSR #Sustainability #Leadership #QuickRelease #EmployeeSpotlight
