  • Not long to go before the RAPAID team will be in the next city donating and kitting out even more taxi cabs with emergency bandage kits. Just popped into the printers to collect the RAPAID window stickers that when displayed in the taxi cabs allow victims, the public and bystanders to quickly spot the cabs, flag them down and be given immediate access until help arrives. Saving time, saving lives! 💚

  • A big shout out and thank you goes to Pobl Group a proudly Welsh organisation committed to making a positive difference in their community. Thanks to the support we received from the Pobl Trust we were able to return to Cardiff and issue a further 25 taxi cabs with Emergency bandage kits. If you are in Cardiff and see a taxi cab displaying English and Welsh RAPAID window stickers, you can flag that cab down and be given immediate access to life saving bandages designed to stem serious blood loss until help arrives, saving time and saving lives! Diolch yn fawr 💚 🙏

We’re always trying to find new ways of improving our health and safety best practice and, given the nature of our work, it’s important that we identify and mitigate risk. • As a charity we encourage taxi drivers and members of the public who carry RAPAID to contact us should they ever use the bandages. Not only does this enable us to replace the bandage bags but also find out more about the impact of the initiative. Today I was contacted by a trauma surgeon who recently attended a serious car accident on a busy motorway. One of the cars involved in the crash was displaying a RAPAID window sticker that allowed members of the public to locate and use the emergency bandages on a victim with several open fractures. We have been reliably informed that “Doctors were convinced the bandages directly contributed to the patient arriving at the hospital alive” Needless to say we have sent out more packs along with our best wishes for a speedy recovery. 🙏 💚 💚 💚   Thank you to all that carry RAPAID and display the window sticker #Rapaid  #Savingtime #savinglives  #stopthebleed

  • Well, as the office draws down before Christmas I wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you. 🙏 Thank you to the whole team at RAPAID, the trustees, patrons and volunteers who travel across the UK installing kits onto taxis and spreading the word. Thank you to our sponsors and donors who are fundamental in helping us to achieve our mission but a special thanks goes out to the taxi drivers who agree to carry RAPAID emergency bandage kits, displaying the RAPAID window stickers that allow the Police and the Public to flag them down and be given immediate access to life saving bandages. We are really looking forward to next year as things are shaping up well. All I can say is you might spot one or two of us wearing kilts! 😅 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 💚 Figen Murray OBE Travis D. F. • As we continue kitting out taxi cabs across the UK we haven't taken our eyes off the London campaign. With the blessing of Transport for London and the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association it is our mission to kit out half of the London taxi fleet with RAPAID. We think this is a realistic target that can be achieved financially and logisticly. There are now 2,270 black cabs in London carrying RAPAID with confirmed reports the public and the Police have spotted the RAPAID window stickers, flagged the cabs down and have been given immediate access to life saving bandages. Only another 5,000 cabs to go!! 😅 💪 Keep your eyes out for our team and please contact us if you think this is something you or your business can help with. Together we are saving time and saving lives! 💚 💚 #stopthebleed #community #rapaid

  • It was an absolute pleasure to meet up with Warrington Police Officers this weekend in support of #OpSceptre a national campaign across all 43 forces in England and Wales in a week of intensified action. With the Police working alongside partners to enhance enforcement, engagement and education activity in relation to knife crime. Well done to all the team and a big thank you to the 50 Warrington taxis that now carry RAPAID bandage bags and display the window stickers allowing the community to flag them down and be given immediate access to the kits. Saving time and saving lives! #community #stopthebleed
