It was an absolute pleasure to pop down to Paignton Academy this week to meet some of the students on The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The students recently raised funds to kit out taxis in their local community with emergency bandage kits. Thanks to all your efforts there are now 5 taxis from Tops cabs in Torbay carrying Rapaid Emergency Bandages. With each cab displaying the RAPAID window stickers so the public can flag the them down and be given immediate access, saving time, saving lives! Thank you team Paignton 💚 💚 #stopthebleed #Emergencybandages

It’s hard to believe that it’s a month since we installed 200 RAPAID emergency bandages kits in cabs in Plymouth, thanks to a generous £10K donation from Babcock International Group. With seven cities now benefitting from our kits in cabs, we’re continuing to roll out more kits in London and looking for funds to help us target more locations in 2025. Can you help? You can make a personal donation or talk to us about becoming a corporate partner by visiting our website 👉🏽 https://lnkd.in/eX72dNgZ

The only thing more satisfying than applying a RAPAID sticker perfectly straight and without a single air bubble is knowing that a passer by seeing that sticker could save a life! 🙌🏽 The RAPAID stickers in the front and back windows of a cab are a really important part of each installation because they enable members of the public or emergency services to identify which cabs are carrying a RAPAID emergency bandages kit. Don’t forget, if you see one, help is at hand, and the driver has agreed to be part of our campaign. 🤩 We always love to see pictures of cabs you’ve spotted with our kits, so if you do see one, take a snap, share it, and tag us📸 – spreading the word is a great way to help our cause.🙏🏽 #emergencybandages #bleedkits #stopthebleed #charity #fundraising #donate #rapaid

When people see our emergency bandages for the first time, they are often surprised by how different they look to an ordinary bandage. 🤔 Each bandage is hygienically vacuum-wrapped and, once opened, it is simple to apply – just put the padded section over the wound, wrap the bandage round, put it through the pressure bar, then wrap the other way, securing the end once you’re done. That’s it! The right amount of pressure will automatically be applied to #stopthebleed. No tourniquet, no special skills required, no risk of getting it wrong. 🙌🏽 This video shows how easy it is to apply one of our bandages to a neck or head wound. It’s over on our YouTube channel! https://lnkd.in/eHf6JU7Z Why not head over there to take a look at some of our other videos 👀 and if you could hit the subscribe button, even better – it all helps boost the algorithms!! #emergencybandages #firstaid #bleedkits #stopthebleed #youtube #followers #rapaid

Happy World Smile Day! Celebrated on the first Friday of October for the past 25 years, World Smile Day is a day devoted to smiles and acts of kindness. 😃🙂😊🥰 Here at RAPAID, we not only rely on kindness, we share it too!🥰 Our campaign to put our emergency bandages kits into circulation in cities throughout the UK is based on the kindness of taxi drivers who have been amazing in agreeing to carry the kits. 👏🏽 It also champions the kindness of strangers who are willing to help if they happen to be around when someone is at risk of bleeding out.👏🏽 And then, of course, there is the kindness of our donors and supporters. We’ve recently benefitted from a kind £10k donation from Babcock International Group, for example, and everyone who donates or spreads the word about RAPAID is doing their bit to make the world a better place. If you’re looking for a reason to smile this Friday – trust us, although our bandages are there to help out when bad things happen, the momentum of our campaign is growing because of so much kindness, and that makes us smile every day – just look at our co-founder Alex Chivers – every cab with a kit puts a smile on his face! 😁💚
