Design and rapid-prototyping consultancy service to customers needing microfluidic solutions. sales@rapidfluidics.com
About us
Rapid Fluidics Ltd was established in 2020 to provide a design and rapid-prototyping consultancy service to customers with a need for microfluidic systems. We've developed a novel way to rapidly and accurately produce prototype microfluidic test cards. This offers companies developing microfluidic products a range of fluidic building blocks, and a much faster iteration cycle through designs before committing to mould tooling. We work with customers to realise their process into a product. We can help at any stage of the development, from establishing user requirements; design, build and test of prototype instrumentation to design for mass production and selection of manufacturing partners. We understand the drive to satisfy human factor requirements whilst meeting COGs (cost of goods) targets and comply with applicable standards. Contact us at info@rapidfluidics.com

So excited to see the experimental outcomes of our collaboration with SpaceBorn United!
Proudly progressing towards conception and embryo development in space! Preparing the ground based testing of our microfluidic subsystem at the IVF lab at Ghent University / UZ Ghent. We are preparing our experiment series that include mouse oocytes, embryos and sperm in our rotating microfluidic discs. We learned valuable lessons that we can integrate in the execution of the experiment series shortly. Big thanks to Winter Vandenberghe and Sylvie Lierman for your contributions and feedback, team Aster in Space for providing and optimizing the disc rotation setup with variable RPM and indicator and to Rapid Fluidics for providing the advanced 3D printed discs. #UZGent #ARTIS #IVF #SpaceBornUnited Angelo Vermeulen Seerat Maqsood Arno den Toom 🌻 🚀 🛰️ Kelly Tilleman Dominic Stoop Sheela Ali, PhD, HCLD/TS/CC (ABB) David Cullen Robert Carrasquillo, MD Francesca Lee-Rizzi Rafael Elias Marques Alejandro Chavez-Badiola, MD, PhD Axel Hochstetter, PhD Adeel Nasir Valerie Bertele 🚀Alexandra Vidyuk Eduardo Hariton, MD, MBA Dr Cristina Hickman Rayan Salam Jarod Lopez Junaid Mian, RPh Marta Ferraz Shawna Pandya, MD Saeed Fathi, PhD Alon Brandman Henk Stapert Adri Kraa Cheryl Gallagher Sanketh Dhumal Satya Aqeel Shamsul, PhD Prateek Singh Sarah Pousho Tijn Quinten Zeelenberg

We have a couple of SLA #3Dprinters to donate in the #UK #newcastleupontyne area, if there is interest let us know at info@rapidfluidics.com, feel free to share or tag.... #payitforward #donationavailable #freestuff
Let's start the week with a feel good story. Debbi's Doodles https://lnkd.in/eGu4PNip is a local CIC (Community Interest Company) in #Hexham who run art sessions for kids, especially those who may struggle in mainstream educational settings. Knowing first-hand how they operate and how useful a service they provide, it made sense when clearing out some of Rapid Fluidics' old equipment to set them up with a spare SLA #3dprinter to really get the creativity flowing. We've actually got a couple more available too, any use to anyone?

There has been much interest in our #3Dprinted #96wellplate with integrated PCB #sensors since we posted and brought it to a few conferences, one of the most common questions was about sealing, and yes, the wells are sealed to the sensors with the #3Dprint process. This is not just a standard part (as in we can make more if interested) but also totally customizable in size, height, well number, or additional #microfluidic modifications. If there are more questions we are happy to discuss further. #labautomation #cellcultureplate #drugdiscovery #highthroughputscreening #noleaks

Paul Marshall and Michael Annang-Colquhoun are at Ilmac in Lausanne, look how excited they are to engage with the chemistry and life sciences community on this beautiful day! #microfluidics

We post a lot of content around our novel creations - they demonstrate the range of what we can do and also look really cool. But we also have some cool standard parts in our #onlinestore (https://lnkd.in/gvZxRSE3) that are availabe for trial or modification, and we are always open to adding more if requested. Among these parts we have created and offer the Modular Microfluidic System (MMS) with a variety of clamps and componants (more coming soon) to organize your #microfluidic experiments. Nobody likes a messy setup - tubes, pumps, and sensors all over the place, if things go wrong it makes it hard to troubleshoot, let the MMS make your experimental flow easier #academicdiscount #standardparts #biomedicalresearch

CEO and Founder Paul Marshall had the opportunity to present our capabilities and accomplishments at the SLAS (Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening) Microscale Innovation. Amazingly, compressing what can easily be a 2 hour conversation into a 10 minute Technology Snapshot. Having to submit the slides the week before, they were already out of date and missing some of our newer capabilities. If interested we have an updated version we would be happy to share (sales@rapidfluidics.com). This week, we'll be at Ilmac in Lausanne and will have to reduce the same presentation to 3 minutes! #microfluidics #cambridge #technology #newcapabilites #sharetheknowledge

Great news! Our summer interns, Kirsty Donaldson and Michael Annang-Colquhoun, have decided to extend their stay and become full members of our team! Their hard work, valuable contributions, and ability to adjust to role expansion during a very busy summer made a significant impact on projects, so we're thrilled to have them continue with us!! Please join us in congratulating them on their new positions! #teamexpansion #businessgrowth #welcometotheteam

"Been meaning to upload a few more images all day but haven't had a chance" Busy is good! Much better view of the #3D printed 96well plate with embedded #PCB electrodes that the team has shared. Who wants one? 6 well, 24 well, or deep well - if you have alternative requirements let's talk.... #biosensor #chemosensor #immunoassay #cellculture #continuousmonitoring #automation
