Today’s Autumn Statement confirms the UK’s ongoing £3 billion support for Ukraine. At RRT, we know this commitment is crucial, however with public awareness being equally essential. Our recent polling shows 57% of Brits support aid to Ukraine, yet 54% feel “news fatigue” and dwindling interest in the crisis. The humanitarian needs are staggering, and it’s vital we keep the public engaged. #rrtcares #ukraine #budget

JESIP Course To help improve the team’s skills and knowledge when attending multi-agency callouts and Major Incidents, two more team members attended the JESIP operational Commander’s Course. (Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme) recently. As well as up-skilling two more team members, it offered a valuable networking opportunity with the statutory emergency services and other responding organisations from around the region. Special thanks to the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) United Kingdom for keeping us all fed and watered. #ExmoorSearchandRescue #JESIP #EmergencyResponse #MultiAgencyTrainin #MajorIncidents #OperationalCommander
