Emergency Lighting in Hazardous Environments! Power outages are an inherent risk in many hazardous areas which raise a need for reliable lighting solutions. Raytec offers emergency variants throughout the SPARTAN and WARRIOR product ranges, with different lumen outputs and durations available. The standard emergency offering provides 25% output with 180 minutes of duration, although 50%, 75%, and 100% output variants are also available across most products. SPARTAN has been installed within an offshore oil rig in UAE to provide a safe environment for offshore drilling workers during low-light conditions. ✨ SPARTAN Flood and Linear luminaires, including emergency variants, were installed across the rig. This included illuminating the lifeboat areas (to support evacuation procedures in an emergency scenario), around the helideck, and general illumination throughout the rig.
