We need new volunteers to give advice! Come and join our Advice Team to provide high quality information, advice and help, both face to face and on the telephone. You don’t need any particular qualifications or experience to train for this role and it's never dull. Training is excellent, with sessions over 12 weeks on Thursday mornings starting, in mid-September plus around 30 hours of self-study. Interested? It’s #VolunteersWeek and we’re celebrating the amazing work of our dedicated volunteers ✨ The volunteer team at Citizens Advice Reading give over 200 hours of time every week to support our local community. Our volunteers contribute as trustees, admin and reception, IT support, advisers and supervisors. We couldn't run our service without them and are so grateful for their commitment to helping people find a way forward. Thank you so much for your support!

Next week come and see us at Whitley Wood Community Centre on Wednesday 13th March in the afternoon to chat to one of our advisers, Reading Borough Council teams and other people from organisations such as Berkshire Vision, Healthwatch, Mustard Tree, Together, Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service and Compass Recovery College. The event is totally free, including hot dogs, veggie options, hot drinks and fruit provided by Reading Borough Council. There is no need to book, everyone is welcome to just pop in on the day.
