Over 100 people, including those living with dementia, their carers, and supporters from the dementia care community, gathered for a musical extravaganza, marking St Patrick's Day in style. Yarm School’s regular Memento events are designed to harness the power of music by bringing people together for joyous singing, laughter and reminiscing. https://lnkd.in/e9WXqQZf

The Great North Air Ambulance Service critical care teams in the North East and Cumbria were activated to nine incidents (including stand downs) over the weekend from Saturday 15 March to Sunday 16 March. They attended seven incidents in the North East and two incidents in Cumbria. Full Story: https://lnkd.in/gptBXxGv This is why it is vital to donate as they do not receive Government funding and must therefore raise £9.3m a year through public donations to remain operational. THE brother of a teenager who sadly died in a motorcycle crash nearly 17 years ago has raised more than £60,000 for charity in his memory. Matthew Heath, 18, from Marske, was driving along the B1269 road, travelling between Dunsdale and Guisborough in July 2008 when the Aprilia motorbike he was riding collided with a Land Rover Freelander. The Great North Air Ambulance Service flew to the scene but unfortunately Matthew died from his injuries. Full Story: https://lnkd.in/gdXsRy25 This is why it is vital to donate as they do not receive Government funding and must therefore raise £9.3m a year through public donations to remain operational. This means the cost per day for the charity is £25,200.
