📢 Legal Update: unfair dismissal and discrimination claims relating to coronavirus Emma Anglade-Ravez, our Legal and Compliance Advisor, shares insights on recent employment tribunal cases related to unfair dismissal and discrimination during the Coronavirus pandemic. With tribunal backlogs causing delays, some judgments are only now being issued, despite cases being lodged over a year ago. It's important to remember that while Employment Tribunal claims should generally be made within 3 months of the incident, there is some flexibility to consider late claims where appropriate. Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting one of our #RECmembers Twenty Four Seven Nursing at their fab head office in Ilkley. They have been committed members of the REC since 2002!🤯🤩 Myself and Managing Director Janet Smith had an insightful conversation about healthcare staffing recruitment.
