We’re thrilled to have received our copy of Tackling Poverty and Disadvantage in Schools by Sean Harris and Katrina Morley OBE. This powerful book brings together insights from co-authors who share research, case studies, practical tools and ideas to help schools navigate these complex topics AND do something about them. A special shout-out to Sara Davidson, Director of Red Kite Education, who co-authored a chapter in the book. Sara shared: "Having witnessed the reality of the impact of poverty and disadvantage on children and young people through my various educational roles in the North East, I feel privileged to have been able to contribute to this book alongside colleagues doing such incredible work in the region. It is so important to ensure that we work together to share practice that will support teachers and school leaders to take positive and effective steps to address inequalities."
