I TURNED A CRAP SUNDAY INTO A CRACKER
HERE IS HOW…
Weather forecast said rain rain rain from 8am.
I live in Manchester, so normal day!
So I got up at 6am and was out walking the dogs at 6.30am, it was cold, mizzling morning, it tried to rain but we enjoyed a hour out and about, and they never stopped barking at the wind.
Got home to my neighbours famous home made Irish sausages (I ate 4 & 2 eggs on muffins) dogs got one each, Result said little faces!
I haven’t listened to Jazz Standards for over a year, but let me tell you 4 hours of Frank, Ella, Sarah, Sammy… and many, many more is an amazing morning / Afternoon, just reading Sunday Papers.
And obviously we broke for second Walkies, only 30 minutes and its was Gloriously Sunny, good bless the optimist that is a Dog.
Back home, cleared the fridge of 2 steaks, asparagus, broccoli, and added a few baby potatoes, onions, peas & carrots anyone for a stew?
Out in the back garden, lovely Red in hand spent a hour throwing ball around for said dogs, they are now officially knackered.
Put on some tunes, did my exercises (doctors orders) and settled down with another glass of Red, 2 sleeping dogs, and a bloody amazing Stew.
Life can be so, so simple, if only you make it so!
