Our partners are the real MVPs when it comes to inspiring the next gen to dive into a career in property. 🙌 But what’s that actually all about? 🤔 Hear it straight from Mark Braund, Architect Director at BDP (Building Design Partnership Ltd)! 💬 "BDP has proudly supported Regeneration Brainery since 2020 and remains committed to this outstanding initiative. The partnerships formed through the Brainery are vital in fostering diversity, providing crucial hands-on work experience, and addressing the skills gap in the design, construction, and property sectors. By continuing our collaboration, BDP is not only investing in the future of the built environment but also helping to nurture the next generation of innovative talent."

Everything You Need to Get a Degree Apprenticeship 🚀 If you’re looking for a degree apprenticeship, here are some great resources that can help get you started. ⬇️ 🔑 Top Resources for CVs & Career Advice: 1️⃣ Bright Network → Career advice, CV tips, templates, and networking opportunities to get you connected. 2️⃣ CV Library → A CV builder with industry-specific templates, plus expert advice on CVs and cover letters. 3️⃣ MyBankingCareer_ → Offers mentorship and guidance on breaking into corporate roles. 🔍 Where to Find Degree Apprenticeships: 🔗 Apprentago → A platform for finding available apprenticeship roles across industries! 🔗 Not Going To Uni Website → For those exploring alternative paths to university, with a range of apprenticeships & other opportunities listed. 🔗 RateMyApprenticeship → A site where you can read honest reviews and experiences from others who’ve completed apprenticeships. 🔗 GOV UK Website → The government’s official site for finding apprenticeships in all sectors. One tip I always recommend is applying directly on company websites—they often list their opportunities there before they appear elsewhere. 💡 A Few Things to Keep in Mind When Applying: 1️⃣ Tailor Your Application → Personalise your CV and cover letter to match the job description. It really makes a difference. 2️⃣ Use Keywords from the Job Posting → Make sure you’re using relevant keywords so your CV passes through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). 3️⃣ Stay Consistent and Be Patient → Track your applications to stay organised, and don’t get discouraged if you face rejections—it’s part of the process. 4️⃣ Quantify Your Achievements → Whenever you can, use numbers to show the impact of your work or projects. 5️⃣ Prepare for Psychometric Tests → These are used by many employers. Full circle moment :) I joined Regeneration Brainery while exploring my interest in the real estate industry in April of this year, having no idea how much one week on a property bootcamp would impact me. At first, I wasn’t fully sure if real estate was something that was definitely for me. However, as soon as I completed the bootcamp, all of my doubts were proved wrong - I realised that real estate is definitely what I want to pursue. The experience I gained through Regeneration Brainery was invaluable, and I’m extremely grateful for everything I learned (if you haven’t noticed from every time I shout them out on my posts😅) Fast forward to now, I’m proud to announce that as an ambassador for RegenB I was able to spend some of my week helping out with their Liverpool bootcamp! THURSDAY: ➡️ Morning: Bruntwood talks and project activities with AtkinsRéalis ➡️ Afternoon: Shedkm: created regeneration plans for The Littlewoods Project and learned about architecture career pathways FRIDAY: ➡️ Morning: CV, employability skills & networking workshop ➡️ Afternoon: Evaluating tenants and sustainability in an activity with Lloyds Banking Group before expanding Thursday’s Littlewoods ideas for a presentation Very happy to have had the opportunity to give back by helping others on their own Bootcamp journeys🤍

Big news! 🎉 Our partners at Landsec have brought on Regeneration Brainery Ambassador Manuella as their first Mayfield Manchester intern! 🙌 As part of the Landsec Futures program, which is all about boosting social mobility in real estate, Manuella will spend 6 months working on the Mayfield Manchester project—the home of Manchester’s first public park in over 100 years! 🌳✨ She’ll be helping transform this site into a brand-new destination for living, working, and playing, testing out her new skills along the way. Huge shoutout to Landsec for working with us to give our young people opportunities like this! 🚀
