Happy International Women’s Day from all of us at RE:GEN Group! 💜💚 It’s staggering to learn that at the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158—roughly five generations from now—to achieve full gender parity, according to data from the World Economic Forum. We truly value the incredible contributions our female colleagues bring to our business, and we are committed to ensuring that value continues to shine. 💫 This week, led by some of our amazing female team members, we’ve kicked off a few initiatives to make a difference. One of the projects we’re particularly excited about is RE:LOVED. We’re collecting workwear and formal event attire, and for a minimum £10 donation, you can purchase these items. All funds raised will go toward supporting a women’s charity, helping us to further #AccelerateAction in the fight for gender equality. Additionally, we’ve spent some time reflecting on the incredible women around us and acknowledging the small but meaningful ways we can lift each other up—whether it’s a word of encouragement, a shared idea, or simply a kind gesture. As we wrap up National Apprenticeship Week, we're reflecting on the impact that our work, alongside our dedicated supply chain, has in connecting local communities to real opportunities. 💚 At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to understanding the unique needs of the communities we serve – particularly when it comes to employment and skills. We believe in bridging the gap for those eager to enter the construction industry but who might not have the necessary skills yet. Through bespoke training, we help people with a strong desire to succeed, giving them the tools and support they need to thrive. 🏆 This is where we see the biggest difference: providing levelling-up opportunities to those who may have previously been overlooked due to a lack of qualifications or skills. It's about giving people a chance to build a career, not just a job. We’re particularly proud that 44 social housing residents have completed RE:GEN Academy Skills Bootcamps, and 25 of them have gone on to secure further training, apprenticeships, or employment.
