About us
Renewi is a leading pure-play waste-to product company that gives new life to used materials every day, contributing to a cleaner, circular world in which we ‘waste no more’. Our extensive operational network enables us to always be close to our customers. We use innovation and the latest technology to push the limits of how much can be recycled, with a vision of a world where all waste is circular. Our focus is extracting value from waste that in the past would have been incinerated or sent to landfill. The result is less waste and contamination, smarter use of raw materials and a direct contribution to a lower carbon economy through the production of secondary raw materials and by avoiding carbon emissions. Renewi shares are listed both on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Amsterdam.

Europe’s future is recycling. It’s a key part of a more sustainable future. It also makes business sense. But we are only recycling 39% - we can and must do more. Today we look at Construction and Demolition waste, an important waste stream that represents 1/3rd of generated waste. What is it, how do we process it, and what opportunities exist? ♻️ Find out more at: https://bit.ly/4cFpv3d #createvaluefromwaste #zerowaste #wastenomore #circulareconomy #advancingcircularitytogether

Renewi invests millions in a new, efficient and safer jetty for ATM. The construction of a new jetty at our ATM site in Moerdijk in the Netherlands is not only an important step in the execution of Renewi's objective to strengthen ATM's position but also increases efficiency and safety. ‘Our priority within Renewi's strategy is to optimise our portfolio,’ says Bruno Bruins, Chief Strategy Officer at Renewi. ‘An important part of this is the further strengthening of ATM. These investments provide a strong foundation for growth in our water and soil remediation business and we continue to explore opportunities for further optimisation in order to strengthen ATM's position.’ ‘As Havenbedrijf Moerdijk, we welcome this new jetty,’ said CEO Paul Dirix. ‘More sustainable options for waterborne transport will help us as Port of Moerdijk to contribute to the ‘modal shift’ and sustainability of logistics. Great to see that Renewi immediately seizes the opportunity to innovate in the process.’ Read more: https://bit.ly/4eUZQUE #advancingcircularitytogether #sustainabletransport #wastenomore

Without recycling companies, there is no circular economy! ♻️ In a time of climate change and resource scarcity, the recycling sector is at a critical turning point. As governments at various levels in Belgium are forming, Mark Thys, Chief Operating Officer at Renewi, and Caroline Van der Perre, Co-Owner & Manager at RAFF Plastics, highlight the urgent challenges that (future) environmental ministers must address immediately in this legislative period. Ensuring a level playing field, guaranteeing the uniform application of existing regulations and reviewing permitting procedures... these challenges call for rapid, decisive action. (Repost) Our CEO Otto De Bont shares his views on the importance of international collaboration and ambitious policies on the path to net zero. ♻️
Creating a circular revolution requires collaboration on an international level, argues our CEO Otto De Bont. ♻️ "Getting to scale is going to be key. From Amsterdam to Athens, Stockholm to Seville, policymakers are setting out major new targets across all major waste streams to drive recycling and new waste management goals. Ensuring that more recycled materials make their way into the value chain isn’t just about circularity. Their carbon footprint is far lower than virgin materials, so it just makes sense to invest in more recycling. It’s a win for the planet and paves our path to net zero." 🌎 However, to be prepared for long-term planning and investments and to make these feasible, the sector needs clear, consistent, and ambitious policies. Waste is no longer just waste: it is a valuable resource, a treasure that can be better utilized. What Mark Thys says in the weekend edition of De Standaard: ♻️ “Greta Thunberg can be seen as a teenager skipping school or as the catalyst for the Green Deal in Europe. Every big change starts somewhere.” #renewitour #advancingcircularitytogether #sustainability
Greta Thunberg can be seen as a teenager skipping school or as the catalyst for the Green Deal in Europe. Every big change starts somewhere. That's the exact ambition driving us with the Renewi Tour. The impact of our efforts will be even greater if the rest of professional cycling joins us in embracing sustainability challenges. I’m particularly proud of the pioneering role we're taking on in this context, alongside our partner Golazo Group. In the long run, we hope that recycling and broader sustainability practices will no longer feel like obligations, but will become second nature. Let’s advance circularity together! #renewitour #renewingearth #changemaker Christophe Impens, OLY De Standaard
