This has been one of the most amazing launch events I have led: fun, energetic and with a stark reminder to government officials, private sector representatives, academics and others that youth and student voices matter greatly. Youth in the #2024YouthReport tell their leaders that technology should enhance, not replace, human interaction in education. Teachers are, and must remain central to the learning process, as no tech can substitute their role. The key to sustainable, effective educational systems lies in finding the right balance between digital and in-person learning. Youth from across five regions are calling for a greater focus on equipping teachers to harness the full potential of technology in classrooms. Their vision includes: ✅ Comprehensive teacher training that blends technical and pedagogical skills, ensuring digital tools serve every learner's needs. ✅ Inclusive digital literacy programs that focus on personalized learning for all students. ✅ Free upskilling opportunities and scholarships for teachers, alongside clear guidelines for integrating tech seamlessly into teaching. To truly transform education, we must ensure that teachers are central to every decision around technology. See how we can achieve #TechOnOurTerms: https://lnkd.in/emS8Ys8F Restless Development
