'Succeeding with Succession' ✅   Yesterday, our Senior HR Officer, Rebecca Jones, represented Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) at Shrewsbury Colleges Group and Shropshire Chamber of Commerce partnered networking event: Succeeding with Succession in the Engineering Sector.   Recognised for our commitment to apprenticeships and early careers, RPL was invited to join a panel alongside other local businesses supporting the sector. Becky shared insights regarding our approach to skills development, recruitment challenges, and employee progression strategies, offering best practice advice to fellow industry professionals.   The event brought together employers, universities, and training providers linked to the engineering sector, creating a fantastic opportunity for collaboration. NEWSFLASH 📢 RICOH Company Limited has once again been recognised for its global leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change and water security by CDP, securing a place on its 2024 A List. This marks Ricoh’s second consecutive year on the Water Security A List and fifth consecutive year on the Climate Change A List since 2020. As part of its commitment to a zero-carbon society, Ricoh has set ambitious targets: - 63% reduction in GHG emissions from group companies by 2030 (compared to 2015) - 40% reduction in supply chain emissions by 2030 (compared to 2015) - 50% renewable energy usage in operations by 2030 Ricoh also promotes water conservation through Group-wide policies, actively reducing water usage year-on-year. The Ricoh Group Environmental Report 2024 details these initiatives, demonstrating our long-term commitment to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 📢 Careers at Ricoh UK Products Ltd 📢 We have the following vacancy: ➡ Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer 💰 Salary: £36,438 - £40,082 🕒 Hours: 37 hours per week The role will be responsible for: ☑ Perform reactive, planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance via CMMS to minimise downtime. ☑Lead installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting site/process modifications. ☑Share knowledge through training, documentation, and proactive maintenance planning. ☑Maintain CMMS records, including work orders, spares, and risk assessments, adhering to safety protocols. ☑Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (Ricoh Production Way, Kaizen, 5S) while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. The ideal candidate must have a proven ability working as a high performing multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer in a high-volume automated manufacturing environment, with experience of fault finding and repair on PLC’s, electrical, robotic, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Injection moulding experience is desirable. (OKI) will join ETRIA, a joint venture between RICOH Company Limited and Toshiba Tec that develops and manufactures multifunctional printers, from October 1, 2025.
