Just announced: @netflixuk has announced the commission of Grenfell (w/t) (1x90’). Our film will painstakingly connect the long and disturbing chain of events that led to the disastrous Grenfell Tower fire that claimed the lives of 72 people in west London in 2017. As well as giving a voice to survivors, bereaved families and firefighters, the documentary will unravel and document a series of events that took place in the years before the fire highlighting each warning and failing revealing it to be the inevitable result of Government neglect and cynical industry practices. Grenfell (w/t) is directed by Olaide Sadiq. Executive producers are James Rogan, Sandy Smith and Soleta Rogan. Just announced! Our film THE SECRET OF ME will have its World Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival. Following the search for truth after an extraordinary discovery for one young student, the film uncovers a radical psychology experiment leading to a global medical scandal. Directed by Grace Hughes-Hallett (producer of Three Identical Strangers) and made in collaboration with Film4 Productions Channel 4 and Screen Scotland, the title is being distributed by Dogwoof. As we’ve returned to the office today, here’s a look back at 2024’s excellent titles and a look forward to some of the exciting projects we’re working on in 2025. The Rise and Fall of Michelle Mone (w/t) for BBC Two tells the extraordinary story of Baroness Mone of Mayfair, the millionaire lingerie entrepreneur, who became notorious for a PPE scandal in the aftermath of Covid.
