Operating independently for more than 25 years, he is a skilled facilitator, speaker, coach, and learning and development practitioner. Hans seamlessly transitions between large audiences and one-on-one interactions, delivering impactful 'in-person' and online interventions. His early training at Price Waterhouse paved the way for a focus on Organisational Development, where he built enduring relationships by delivering public and in-company training initiatives. Hans's client-centric approach involves understanding client contexts in detail, allowing him to craft personalised interventions for both organisations and individuals. This personalised touch has led him to collaborate with major global organisations, becoming an extension of their teams. Happy International HR Day. Today feels like a great opportunity to take a moment and reflect on the incredible journey we're all on. Let's be honest, HR isn't for the faint of heart. It's a constant dance between the head and the heart. We're tasked with leading people – a role that demands a extensive understanding of emotional intelligence (EQ). We need to be able to manage our own emotions, navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, and motivate a diverse workforce. Gone are the days of the transactional HR professional. Today, it's all about fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring everyone feels valued. But here's the thing – leading with heart doesn't mean throwing ethics and integrity out the window. HR professionals are the guardians of company culture, ensuring fairness and upholding the organisation's values.
