When the pandemic hit in 2020, the British public raised an incredible £162 million for our Covid-19 Urgent Appeal to help the NHS during the most challenging time it had ever faced. This money has since reached every part of the UK, with 90% of projects continuing to have long lasting impact for NHS staff, patients and communities. Today, five years on, we were delighted to welcome our Joint Royal Patron HRH The Prince of Wales to Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust to visit one of these projects and see the impact of generous donations. Through the appeal, we were able to help Royal Berks Charity develop The Oasis Staff Wellbeing Centre. It is one of a few centres in England dedicated to NHS staff wellbeing, and since opening has had a huge impact on the wellbeing of the staff. With the scale of the ongoing challenges facing healthcare, support like this is needed more than ever, and so our work to make healthcare better for everyone continues. This includes a £16 million workforce wellbeing programme in partnership with NHS England so that we can support even more NHS staff across the UK. 💙

Yesterday we held a coffee morning and bake sale in our Reading office to raise money for the wonderful Royal Berks Charity! Thank you to everyone who contributed goodies and to everyone who made a donation!
