Pay scales, job evaluation schemes and equitable staff policies are just some of the expectations set out in our new Employment Standards for Independent Health and Social Care Sectors. With our members receiving varied pay, terms and conditions in the independent sector, these standards will support them to advocate for themselves. The standards have also informed how we’ll be lobbying on the Employment Rights Bill. The new standards cover a number areas - such as sick pay from day one, not just statutory - that we want the UK government to go further on. Read more ⤵️
