It was an absolute pleasure to be joined by the amazing Molly Soto for the week, who we've learnt so much from. Find out about the lessons Molly took away from her time working at Ruder Finn UK below.

If there is one thing I learned about visiting the UK, it's that you don't really have to be in a hurry. And, so, I was not in a hurry to publish this post. Last month, I had the privilege of visiting my colleagues at rf.engage in London. Beyond the meetings, the walks to the office with my umbrella, and the workshops, this adventure offered me unexpected lessons that blended professional and personal discovery (which is where I think we grow the most!). Here are some of those details: 1. Innovation thrives in collaboration. I spent time in lively sessions with teams from Mantis PR, rf.engage and Ruder Finn UK, diving deep into metrics, accomplishments and AI's future - I even held an interactive Midjourney session with the designers. The energy of collaboration and inspiration filled me up and kept me dreaming on my walks home. 2. London's contrasts tell stories: While the financial district blends together in a sea of monochrome clothes and stoic faces, the city's soul bursts with creativity, from the striking architecture to the vibrant art scene, from the bustling laughter of pubs as the sun sets to the historical details that hold the past of a million voices. 3. The food is not as bad as they say! From the masterful sushi at Nobu to Pahamama's Peruvian feast, London's food scene is anything but bland - consider me officially converted. 4. Culture cannot always be defined. From a simple conversation with a colleague about American homes having too many bathrooms to a pub full of strangers embracing my stories about snowmobiling, from views of chaotic streets to the majestic Jurassic Coast and rolling hillsides sprinkled with goats, culture is most powerful when you let it challenge your assumption of what's "normal." And through this all, my ability was most tested by driving on the left side of the road through busy roundabouts. I must have said, "left, left, left" thousands of times in my head during our travels. Here's the main lesson I learned - growth lies in the details - in stepping into the unknown, challenging our preconceptions and embracing new ways, new thoughts and new places. Also, once you conquer the tube, you are free indeed. **Disclaimer: This video is much better when viewed while listening to the tunes of "Days Like This" by Van Morrison. #ProfessionalGrowth #GlobalPerspective #WorkTravel #GlobalColleagues #London
