Meet the latest member of the RSL team 👇 Get to know James Peacock our Graphic Designer. 🎨 Inspired from a young age by a family of artists and creatives, James honed his design skills over the past six years, studying Graphic Design at college and then at the University of Huddersfield. Since then, he's gained freelance and industry experience in various areas, such as brand and packaging design. 🏃♂️ Beyond the studio, James is an outdoor enthusiast who loves running and adventuring. He recently completed a 19-mile charity run in the Yorkshire Dales to raise awareness for Alzheimer's. He's also an avid skier and has already planned next season's trip to the mountains ⛷️ Welcome aboard, James - we're so pleased to be working with you! #WeAreRural #MeetTheTeam #GraphicDesigner

We start this series with our Project Coordinator Keely Shaw, who outside of her work at RSL is a Treasurer of The Trawden Show in Lancashire 👇 Here's what she had to say about it: "Trawden Show is an agricultural show organised and run entirely by volunteers, I am proud to say that while many similar events have faced decline, the Trawden Show has continued to be successful, attracting more visitors and competitors from all over the country each year. We have ambitious plans for further growth. Trawden itself is a community run village where residents collectively own and manage the pub, shop, library, and community centre. In April of this year, we had the honour of welcoming Princess Anne to Trawden. She visited the Trawden Arms and the Trawden Forest Community Centre to see firsthand the community-led projects that have made our village the first in Britain where locals came together to purchase and preserve the library, post office, shop, community centre, and pub, ensuring they remained open."   1. #FridayFaves - Wild Ingleborough Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is on a mission to make Yorkshire's stunning Ingleborough wilder through an impressive landscape-scale restoration programme. By balancing interventions like conservation grazing, traditional land management, and natural regeneration, they are creating a mosaic of diverse habitats that will support a wide range of species. This includes everything from blanket bog and wood pasture to wildflower meadows and the distinctive limestone pavement that makes Ingleborough so unique. This mission is deeply meaningful to us, not only because it's located just north of our office, but also because it aligns with our commitment to regenerative land management, a cause we champion across the country.
