🏡 Our customers' homes are warmer,  healthier and cheaper to heat thanks to improvement works funded by government. Today, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (ESNZ) has announced its latest round of funding with £3.8m allocated to North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) allowing us to continue our partnership work making the area a great place to live. 🏆 We’re the winners 🏆 Our collaborative work with Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd delivering our retrofit decarbonisation project has earned us another award win. Rykneld Homes and SBS were named winners of the Best Social Housing-led Retrofit Programme at the The Retrofit Academy Awards. Our Director of Property Services Dan Crossley and Director of Corporate Resources Lucy Gebbie were at the ceremony - held as part of the The National Retrofit Conference at Futurebuild 2025. They said: “Improving the homes our customers live in is a priority for us. To win an award with our longstanding partners SBS in recognition of our work to do this shows the progress being made. “The feedback we have had from customers has been really positive and we are looking forward to continuing our work with SBS and making our properties the best homes they can be.” SBS Chair Derek Horrocks added: “It's fantastic to see the outstanding impact our partnership is having on the local community being recognised with this amazing award.” #RykneldSBSPartnership
