On Saturday 14th December 2024, colleagues from across the Theo Paphitis Retail Group braved the cold weather and created buckets of colourful gunge to get messy for charity. We are delighted to share that our colleagues’ fantastic efforts have raised over £5,000 for our charity partners Starlight Children's Foundation - UK, British Dyslexia Association, Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.

Ryman is proud and honoured to support the British Dyslexia Association and the #BDAAwards24 this evening. This special event celebrates the remarkable achievements of children, young people, educators, entrepreneurs, employers, and advocates whose inspiring stories showcase the power of unlocking the potential of individuals with dyslexia. As a charity partner, we are grateful to witness and learn from those who demonstrate exceptional resilience, dedication and effort to create a dyslexia-friendly society.

Today the Retail Trust is relaunching the ‘Respect Retail’ campaign - focusing on new skills training on managing challenging situations, making sure that retail remains a fantastic part of our communities and ensuring that retail remains a great sector to work in. This campaign is backed by many retailers, and industry bodies, including media partner Retail Week. We are delighted to support this important campaign through raising awareness across my retail brands; Ryman, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue and London Graphic Centre, and also having made a £10k donation towards the training and campaign. #RespectRetail #RetailNews #Retail #Community #Training

We are really proud to share that since 2019 we have recycled 3.5 million pens in-store! 🖊️ Since joining the Writing Instrument Free Recycling Programme sponsored by BIC and managed by TerraCycle we have recycled the equivalent of 35,000kg of waste in pens, allowing it to be reused and repurposed. For every kilo of pens collected we earn TerraCycle points, which are redeemed as charity donations. We are delighted to say that over £34,000 has been raised for our charity partners. With over 190 stores in the UK who all have pen recycling points, there’s really no excuse to not declutter your drawers. ✒️
