  • Meet Our Arrangers🤗 We are proud to introduce you all to our funeral arranger, Kate. S. Stibbards & Sons have been fortunate enough to have Kate as a member of the team since 2019. Many may be familiar with Kate, from her time caring for our families across the Southend and Castle Point Boroughs. In more recent times, Kate has been looking after our arranging office on Canvey Island, helping us maintain our reputation of care and compassion on the Island. We’re pleased to share these words from Kate, about what it means to work at Stibbards: “I want to make a difference to the families I meet and support them in every way that I can. If you work in the funeral profession, it’s not just a job, it’s a vocation.” Kate, we thank you for your dedication and commitment to caring for our families.

  • The month of March is an important time for Marie Curie UK, and we are proud to help raise awareness for their important causes💛 The Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal runs throughout the month, helping to raise funds for end of life care. You can participate by wearing a daffodil, volunteering, or making a donation to the cause. On Sunday 9th March, we also have the Marie Curie Day of Reflection. This is a day to commemorate those lost to COVID-19, and help raise awareness of the impact of grief on people’s lives. To help raise awareness, we will be wearing our daffodil pins for the month ahead. We will also illuminate Weir View House in yellow to show our support for the amazing work Marie Curie carry out across the country. If you’d like to get involved, please visit their page where you can see first-hand the important work they do and the impact it has on our community.
