We are pleased to announce that The Sail Training International Seminar 2025, will be held during The Tall Ships Races in Aberdeen, UK on Monday 21 July 2025. The seminar will offer the opportunity to experience a Tall Ships Races event in what promises to be a spectacular stop-over in Aberdeen, where the team there are, together with Sail Training International looking forward to welcoming a truly amazing fleet of participating ships. As attendees you will benefit from an informative programme of sessions covering topics crucial to delivering a successful event. Delegates will have the chance to share ideas and contribute to group discussions, which will help us all continue to deliver events which are relevant and attractive to all stakeholders. Would you like the chance to take part in a two-week sailing adventure to Oman? 🗺️ 🇴🇲 ⛵️ The Royal Navy of Oman has supported sail training for over 10 years by providing bursary funding during The Tall Ships Races and in 2025 they are inviting 20 trainees, aged between 18 and 23, to participate in an international sail training voyage on board their sail training vessel Shabab Oman II. The voyage will take place between 24th November and 3rd December 2025 in Omani waters and, following this, you will be invited to join a celebration in Muscat for the presentation of the Sultan Qaboos Trophy 2025! This is an amazing opportunity to experience the adventure of a lifetime with young people from around the world, with no previous sailing experience required.
