At the start of this year, we loved bringing some Sandpit Creations magic to The Royal College of Music Britten Theatre, where our team completed an impressive full set design and build that represented a block of flats for MW the musical by Tunde Adegbola. This one of a kind production combined an enchanting blend of Afrobeats and Nigerian music with dance and drama to take audiences on an emotional journey like no other, and we couldn't have been more proud to be a part of it. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, this time in Kew Gardens! 🍃 Last year we worked with Two Tails Productions at Kew Gardens to fabricate an interactive installation that would bring this much loved story to life. Our role: To create the elements that would activate the adventure including a 6ft bear which was hand painted by one of our specialist Scenic artists. It’s time to step into the world of CBeebies and journey through their Rainbow Adventure🌈 Over the last few weeks, it’s been super fun to get stuck into creating the rooms of Bluey, Hey Duggee, JoJo & GranGran and Mr Tumble.
