With nearly a decade of experience in Customer Service and Sales within the Leisure industry, Alasdair made a passionate shift to the renewable energy sector earlier this year. He’s now playing an essential role in our rapidly expanding O&M team. In his current position, Alasdair collaborates closely with his teammates to tackle follow-up needs from site visits. He also focuses on nurturing relationships with our suppliers, obtaining quotes, procuring materials, and coordinating labour for on-site projects. His extensive background in customer relations, combined with his keen attention to detail, ensures that every project runs smoothly and maintains high standards of quality.✅   In his spare time, Alasdair enjoys exploring new destinations. 🚨Mondays are set aside for our team, so allow me to introduce another integral member: our Health and Safety Manager, Greg. Originally trained as an electrician, Greg brings a wealth of technical expertise to our company. After spending several years sailing the world as a production manager on cruise ships, he transitioned to theatre lighting, ultimately becoming Chief Electrician at the London Palladium and working with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s group of theatres. The COVID-19 pandemic inspired Greg to gain qualifications in health and safety, leading to his recent NEBOSH diploma in occupational health and safety. In his role, he provides crucial health and safety advice, oversees construction compliance, and ensures adherence to safety laws. 👷🏻♂️ Outside of work, Greg is a keen DIYer, constantly honing new skills like plastering and plumbing. 🌟We're excited about our recent membership in the UK Warehousing Association. Our Director of Development, Deanna, had the opportunity to attend the prestigious House of Lords Luncheon hosted by Baroness McIntosh of Pickering. This networking event provided a great opportunity to connect with influential representatives from the logistics sector, as well as MPs, peers, and key policymakers.🤝🌐 Deanna shared the following words: "It was a really positive event, and it was great to hear about the UKWA's success and achievements during its year of warehousing. In particular, I thought the Warehouse Trumps card game commemorating the 80 visits in 2024 was a fun touch. In her speech, Clare Bottle, the CEO of UKWA, touched upon the importance of progression and innovation, including expanding onsite solar and sustainability endeavours.
