Yes, more co-operatives in Birmingham please!
🤝 Many #councils want to encourage more #cooperatives in their local area but they don't know where to start. 🌤️ How can they help communities to start, run, and grow businesses that are accountable to the community, trading for community benefit, and ultimately making their local places better? 💡 We funded the Co-operative Councils' Innovation Network (CCIN) Policy Lab, led by Kirklees Council, to create a handy guide for councils to do just that. The Cooperative Development Toolkit for Councils launches today at the Local Government Association Conference. Councils can unlock the potential in their communities by following the framework and using the tools provided. See it here 👇 👇 https://lnkd.in/gEeWpuYV
